The purpose of Counterfeit Part Investigation is to ensure that parts going into
critical applications are of a known or traceable pedigree which have not been subjected
to prior use. Counterfeit are parts that have been purposely altered to give a false
indication of the parts function or pedigree. The steps of this plan are necessary
to ensure complete verification of the parts from an unknown lot or if parts are
bought outside of the manufacturers approved network of distributors.
Counterfeit testing is performed to the following industry adopted standards: SAE
AS5553 and IDEA-STD-1010A.

Analytical Solutions, Inc is proud to announce a new partnership with the software
development group Software Solutions, Inc. With
this new partnership ASI will be able to greatly expand on their Product Analysis
capabilities.
On June 21, Analytical Solutions, Inc will be conducting a 2 day short course titled
"Introduction to Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Microsystems". This course
will be taught by Dr. Ted Dellin retired Chief Scientist of the Microsystems
Center at Sandia National Labs.

Analytical Solutions, Inc received Commercial Suitability Status from the Defense
Logistics Agency DSCC on February 09, 2011. The Suitability allows ASI to perform
testing per MIL-STD-883 test requirements. DSCC suitability is part of ASI’s total
solution in supply chain management, which allows a customer the unique opportunity
to come to one source for all its service needs related to security design, configuration
design, manufacturing and production validation, counterfeit detection, and failure
or construction analysis of electronic devices.
Analytical Solutions, Inc received Trusted IC Accreditation on September 14, 2010
from the Office of Secretary of Defense’s DMEA (Defense Micro Electronics Activity).
The accreditation is issued as part of the Defense Trusted Integrated Circuits Strategy
(DTICS) that established “Trust” as a minimum need to assure that Mission Assurance
Category I Systems (DODI) employ trusted foundry to fabricate and test their custom
designed “IC”.
